One by 6 is a survey exhibition that reflects the art practices of six artists who have been studying and making art work together for several years.

Each artist is engaging with their own thematic premise yet what is interesting is the exchange that occurs when these individual ideas are placed side by side.  Unintended relationships form and various aspects of the world we interact with become apparent.  The juxtaposition of environmental issues against atmospheric landscapes can make a powerful statement about the direction of humanity and simple everyday life.  This human connection continues with our urban experiences and the way we relate to buildings and how we observe the things around us.  We mark time and shape our memories and individual histories through associations with our surroundings.
